We like to eat. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about it. The fresher the ingredients are, the better!  We are not looking for a 4 star meal, just something good fresh and tasty.

We’ve planted a few veggies next to the front door, less for substance & more for grazing. It is so nice to be able to walk outside and pick peas, pinch some herbs or munch on a fresh tomato.

We can’t give up the Farmer’s Market though- It is much cheaper to buy produce at the market than to grow it ourselves and we really want to support our farmers! They offer us so many wonderful ingredients and they often bring us special “gifts” that they know we are looking for. Sometimes, they leave certain things under the table for us, or put  a single bunch of greens out, hoping that we will see and want it. (We always do!)

We may not be true epicureans or have formal training, but we enjoy good food & wine, good friends and adventurous eating!
